TEAMLINK MASTER SCHEDULE

Autumn 2007 Thru Early Summer 2008

This schedule is a comprehensive overview of the open-enrollment courses and adventure opportunities offered by Shenandoah Mountain Guides thru Summer 2008. To make it a little easier to use, it’s been divided into four general areas based on the skill and focus level of activity and adventure you are seeking. If you are looking for a course or activity not listed here, please call the office at 866.455.8672, and we will gladly refer you to a professional associate that meets our standards.

Introduction to Programs and Seminars

Ever want to try rappelling? Or cross country skiing ?  How about canoeing or kayaking? Maybe rock climbing or backpacking?? Hiking on the AT?

This is your chance!

These programs are for those of you who want to try a new adventure but are not really sure you want to sink a bunch of money into it without first knowing that it is really a good “fit” for you and your family/friends.

We provide instructional staff and all needed gear for an activity that you will find absolutely unforgettable and hopefully, fun!

General Interest Programs

A step up from the introductory level, these programs are designed to develop specific skills to enhance your enjoyment of the outdoors. Ideal for participants of all ages and abilities.. the key component is a desire to learn new skills and to be challenged.

Guided Adventures

Ranging from the “soft adventure” experiences found hiking the second-to-none backcountry trails of Shenandoah National Park to ascending the vertical granite of Old Rag Mountain to exploring the streams and rivers of the northern Blue Ridge, Alleghenies and Catoctin Highlands. This section lists some of the numerous opportunities to get out for one, two, three (or more!) days under the careful guidance of our educators and guiding staff.

Technical and Specialized Training

For outdoor professionals, those who aspire to be outdoor professionals, and experienced practitioners who desire to enhance their skill sets.. most of these classes are scheduled independent of this calendar. Listed are a limited number of open–enrollment offerings for the public and/or individuals.
